How it works
Ask about a study concept, a homework question, or something from class that did not make sense. Set a grade from Kindergarten through Grade 12, or Adult, so the explanation is written for that level.
Use your own words to describe what you want to understand, whether that is a new idea or one step in a longer problem. Ask for a definition, a comparison, or help understanding why a method works. With a worksheet, name the questions you want help with.
01
Type your question
Type the question in your own words. Choose a grade from Kindergarten through Grade 12, or Adult, and the explanation is written for that grade. A saved profile can provide the starting grade, and you can change it before you submit.
02
Read the explanation
Read the answer and the reasoning behind it. For a study concept, look at how the explanation connects the main idea to its details. For a worked problem, follow the steps in order and identify where you needed help.
03
Save or ask another
Sign in to keep the answer in My Stuff, where you can open it again when reviewing the topic. Choose Ask another to start a new question with your grade still selected, whether it is about the same lesson or a different subject.
